Olivia's Staff

The People of Olivia’s

Not to brag or anything, but we just happen to have the Captain of the Bristol, VT Fire Department baking our bread. In his spare time, you may find him in a classic fire-rescue situation such as saving a curious kitten from a tree. However it is more likely you will catch a glimpse of him participating in training events such as the one he was in this past weekend. Take a look:

This started as a 4 hour session on Modern Fire Behavior, hosted by the Vermont Fire Academy. The session was followed up by 5 hours of Flashover Recognition training with the State Of Vermont’s Flashover simulator trailer. (Whaaat?!)

  1. Two things I knew about my son, Famous Amos was he loved good food, loved to prepare foods and I knew he would be cooking and/ or baking for a living. Numbers two is he would be involved with his community and would be looking pretty handsome in his uniform.
